FAQs
When will the hudson be formally open for business?
As of now we are expecting our Certificate of Occupancy by June or July. While renovations will likely continue through the fall, we are planning on making the space available for limited rentals during this time.
Is there in-house catering onsite?
There is a kitchen in the basement (still under renovation) but at present, we do not offer any in house catering. When finished, renters are welcome to use the kitchen and coordinate their own catering.
How many guests can the space host?
The Hudson Harmonic has a maximum capacity of 500 people in the atrium.
Can I choose my own vendors?
Yes, you are welcome to choose your own venders although we will be offering special promotional discounts to a special list of strategic vender partners. Please contact us for more information.
Is The Hudson Harmonic climate controlled?
When the renovations are finished the building will be fully climate controlled.
Does The Hudson Harmonic have table and chair rentals?
Currently we only have a few tables and chairs (contact us for details). For large events, please arrange to rent your own tables and chairs.
Does The Hudson Harmonic have parking?
There are two large municipal parking lots, one in the front that is generally not available during the day (but is available at nights from 5PM during the work week and on weekends when the farmers market is not taking place and on holidays), and another in the back that is available 24/7 but is metered. There is also street parking that is metered 9-5, Monday through Saturday (free Sunday).
Does The Hudson Harmonic have a rental fee or other fees?
The Hudson Harmonic has varying rates for different types of use. Please contact us for quotes.
Is the Hudson harmonic still available for recording music?
While it is currently undergoing some major renovations, it still contains the original control room installed by Henry Hirsch (with no control board) and the original XLR wiring connecting the control room to the atrium. The atrium features fantastic acoustics and a few basic amenities such as sound insulating panels and some very rudimentary recording equipment and cables. When finished, the space will continue to be available for rent to recording artists who want to bring their own equipment. However, it will not function as a professional music studio until further notice.
